Strata Maintenance (Part 1)

Mancini Electrical has had the privilege of helping a local strata management company, service and maintain the communal areas

of a unit complex for 60 tenancies.Including:

  • Emergency lighting
  • Car park lighting
  • Stair and walkway lighting
  • Gym
  • Games room
  • Sauna
  • Outdoor pool area

On a site such as this, built approximately 15 years ago, light fittings and electrical equipment need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear. As well as replaced from unexpected damage or faults. Maintaining a safe environment for all tenants and visitors to the facility is the most important part of a strata manager’s role. Insufficient light or emergency safety features must be tested regularly, and be in good working order. The next most important part is to keep all the facilities working. Residents are not happy if the sauna or pool is unavailable. Faults need to be attended to promptly with down time kept to a minimum.
